Walk at night

The first of many Walk(tm) posts. These involve, yep, me walking somewhere and taking photos of the scenery en route.

The usual path at this stage is to follow Golomb up to Merkaz then walk down the steps next to De Niro café, taking around an hour. There’s a spot part of the way down that has a very nice view:

Dinner – Fattoush restaurant

Went for dinner to a restaurant called Fattoush, on Ben Gurion avenue, with Shahram, Omid and Arman:

We decided to sit inside as it was quite cold and windy outside. They had some strange lighting:

And candles:

And decoration:

Then the food arrived, starting with the hummus:

Then salad:

And main meal:

Very filling!

Twin Holy Days

There are a number of Bahá’í Holy days, two of them being the Birth of the Báb and the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh.  At the Bahá’í World Center we celebrate these using the lunar calendar, where they always follow each other – hence the "twin" Holy days.  This year they were on 31 January and 1 February.

Hanging around for refreshments before the programme:

What’s in a blog?

Warning: the following post has no pictures!

The last update to this site was on 9 January, and it is now 29 January so 20 days. What can I say – I was busy, and the novelty seems to have worn off.
Now comes the real test – I will have to answer some questions. How often should I post? What of? For whom? If you have any suggestions let me know.
In the meanwhile, I will keep posting in the patented Lessan style!
